Which matchups favor the Arizona Cardinals the most in their pivotal game with the Indianapolis Colts in Week 16?
The Arizona Cardinals have a lot to prove, losing four of their previous seven contests. In two of those contests, lowly teams like the Detroit Lions and Carolina Panthers have blown them out. They now face the Indianapolis Colts, whose centerpiece, Jonathan Taylor, has evolved into one of the game’s best at his position.
Although the Cardinals hold a serious disadvantage in their running defense, it doesn’t mean they’re anywhere near out of this one.
Remember, this is still a team that won its first seven games and boasted one of the league’s most explosive offenses. And the Colts started off 2021 on a losing streak.
So anything can happen. And this is more than a winnable football game for the Cardinals. However, they must take advantage of the following three favorable matchups if they want to get back on track and clinch a playoff berth.
