3 favorable matchups for the Cardinals in Week 16 vs. the Colts

Cardinals rushing attack vs. Colts run defense
The Colts have a decent run defense. However, they have also allowed 4.5 yards per carry. Unlike Wentz on the opposite end of the ball, the Cardinals have both a better quarterback in Murray who can also make things happen with his legs. And even without DeAndre Hopkins, they boast a better receiving unit.
The Colts’ defense must account more for Murray’s ability to throw and to make things happen with his legs. But the Cardinals also have Chase Edmonds back at the RB1 position. Last week, Edmonds provided one of the bright spots against the Lions, rushing for 53 yards on 8.83 yards per carry.
They also may have James Conner for the game. As of Friday afternoon, they have listed Conner as questionable, and if he’s good to go, expect the Cardinals to tote the rock early and often before allowing Murray to go over the top. And don’t be surprised if Murray creates plays with his legs a few times in Saturday night’s matchup.
