After a disappointing loss to the Indianapolis Colts on Christmas night, the Arizona Cardinals need a win over the Dallas Cowboys this weekend to stay in the NFC West race.

Losers of three straight, the Arizona Cardinals would like to get back on track this week, but getting a win is going to be tough when they head out on the road to take on an 11-4 Dallas Cowboys team.

If the Cardinals can leave the field with a victory on Sunday, then it’s a great sign for their chances in the playoffs this season. If Dallas ends up with the win, then Arizona’s chance at winning the NFC West this year decreases even more.

Arizona Cardinals vs. Dallas Cowboys prediction Week 17

The Cowboys have won four games in a row, but none of these victories have come against any teams that the majority would refer to as “tough” competition. During the last four weeks, Dallas has defeated the Washington Football Team twice, the New Orleans Saints, and the New York Giants.

Prior to these four wins, however, the Cowboys fell to the Las Vegas Raiders and the Kansas City Chiefs. So Arizona does have the talent to come away with a victory over the Cowboys on Sunday.

Last season, the Cardinals cruised to a 28-point win over Dallas. We should expect this year’s matchup to be much closer, but Arizona, who has played very well on the road this season, should be able to get a victory over the Cowboys for the second year in a row.
