Jason Garrett

Back in November, the Giants elected to part ways with Jason Garrett, their offensive coordinator since the 2020 campaign. The 55-year-old was rumored to be the frontrunner for the head-coaching position at Duke University, but the gig went to Mike Elko just a few days after Garrett was fired.

Garrett is now available, and could potentially be a solid offensive voice in the ear of Kingsbury. The Pennsylvania native spent 10 years (2010-19) as the head coach of the Dallas Cowboys after serving as that squad’s offensive coordinator prior to being promoted.

The former Princeton University product’s expertise is at the quarterback spot, given the fact that he played the position as a pro. Garrett began his coaching career back in 2005 when he was hired by the Dolphins to coach their signal-callers.
