It’s entirely possible that edge-rusher Chandler Jones will be playing for another team next season. If Arizona does lose the four-time Pro Bowler, management could bring in an individual like Kyler Fackrell to help offset the loss of Jones.
No one would argue with the fact that the 30-year-old Fackrell is not in the same class as Jones. However, the 6-foot-5, 245-pounder did register an impressive 10.5 sacks for the Packers back in 2018.
Fackrell recorded three sacks in 13 appearances for the Los Angeles Chargers last fall, and he tallied four sacks in 12 matchups for the New York Giants in 2020. The Mesa, Arizona native collected a very team-friendly $1.5 million with the Chargers in 2021.
