The Arizona Cardinals could potentially show interest in a group of free agents who got their start with the organization.
The Arizona Cardinals could legitimately look at the 2021 campaign as a complete disappointment. The Redbirds were flying high during a 10-2 start, but a disastrous ending to the season brought the team’s weaknesses to the surface.
One way to right the ship is through free agency, a tool that general manager Steve Keim used quite effectively a year ago. The Cards may have to delve into the market once again if they hope to make another run at a Super Bowl championship next fall.
When glancing at this offseason’s crop of free agents, one can’t help but notice that several members of that group started their NFL careers with the Cardinals. The following are five former members of the club’s roster who could return to fill a role with the squad in 2022.
