The 23rd overall pick of the 2022 NFL Draft is far from ideal, but the Arizona Cardinals could still come away with a viable contributor.

Following what turned out to be another disappointing end to a season, the Arizona Cardinals are about to embark on one of the franchise’s most important drafts in years.

For reasons known only to him, Cards general manager Steve Keim elected to do very little in free agency. That lack of activity will put extra pressure on the club’s front office to add difference-making youngsters when the draft gets underway later this month.

Arizona is in possession of the first round’s 23rd overall selection, a less than ideal spot for a team with pressing needs. Keim will be asked to work some magic, despite the fact that most of his top picks have been failures. The following are four attractive prospects who could still be available for the Cardinals on the draft’s opening night.
