First Round (Pick No. 23)

Drake London – WR (USC)

Arizona strikes gold when USC’s Drake London tumbles down the board to their waiting arms in round 1. The 20-year-old is arguably the best wide receiver in the draft, and Keim gets to replace the departed Christian Kirk with a flat-out stud.

London is a 6-foot-4, 219-pounder who was the Pac-12 Offensive Player of the Year in 2021. His addition to a receiving corps that already includes DeAndre Hopkins, A.J. Green, and Rondale Moore could mean great things for the “Air Raid” passing attack in 2022.

In his three campaigns with the Trojans, London hauled in 160 passes for 2,153 yards and 15 touchdowns. Coming out of the draft’s opening night with the sensational pass-catcher is truly a grand slam for the Cards’ war room.
