Arizona Cardinals have a military history that not many remember

As we all enjoy Memorial Day Weekend, let’s not forget those that served. The Arizona Cardinals have a surprisingly bigger military history than most think.

This weekend and time of year are to reflect and give thanks to those who went above and beyond to protect our country. Without them, nothing we do in our daily lives is possible.

When it comes to the Arizona Cardinals, everyone knows the legend of Pat Tillman. So we’ll talk about Tillman (of course) and shine a light on a handful of other players who answered the call.

Arizona Cardinals fans (and all fans) should remember their team’s history,  and the more that they know, the better. So here is a non-exhaustive list of the Arizona Cardinals players that I could find who have served in the Army.

Another note is that this list includes players who spent either most of their career with the Cardinals or spent time briefly with the team early on in their careers.
