Arguably the best bang for your buck left at the position, Linval Joseph is somehow still available for the Arizona Cardinals to sign.

Like the others on this list, Linval Joseph has been in the league a long time and brings a great deal of experience with him. He has played for the New York Giants, Minnesota Vikings, and most recently the Los Angeles Chargers.

As far as ratings go, he reached his peak between 2015 and 2017 when he was playing at a truly elite level and averaging an 87.0 PFF grade.

The Arizona Cardinals need a presence in the middle of the defensive line that is talented at stopping the run after a pathetic performance in that part of the game throughout the 2021 season.

Joseph’s game is not built around big sack numbers but instead provides a solid, steady presence in the middle of the line and stopping the run. In other words, exactly what the Cardinals need.

Of the players on this list, Joseph is by far the best fit and would most clearly fit a significant need of the team in a better way than either Sheldon Richardson or Ndamukong Suh.

PFF.com estimates a 1-year, $6.75 million contract for Joseph, which makes him the most expensive option here, but considering what he brings to the table, it would be a cost well worth it.
