The NFC West was once the NFL’s toughest division, and the Arizona Cardinals had a lot of tough games.

All of that has changed now due to Russell Wilson miraculously leaving the division (the fans of the Arizona Cardinals will always appreciate the Denver Broncos). Wilson made matchups against his Seattle Seahawks an insanely tough task, especially when the two teams faced off in Glendale.

The San Francisco 49ers made it to the NFC Championship last season, and the L.A. Rams won Super Bowl LVI. So how will the Arizona Cardinals’ divisional record turn out in 2022? Let’s start with the Seattle Seahawks.

Arizona Cardinals vs. Seattle Seahawks: Weeks 6 & 9

Even with the limited roster that Wilson had last year, he was able to steal a critical win from the Cardinals late in the year. Rashaad Penny tore the Cardinals up, even after Zach Allen’s T.D. put them ahead on the first play of the game.

Now with the lowly Drew Lock at quarterback and the only real threat on the offense in rookie running back Kenneth Walker III, Pete Carroll’s evil plan to q be run-first team is slowly working. The Cardinals haven’t made their rushing defense any better, but the Seahawks are so devoid of talent that this shouldn’t be too difficult.

We’ve seen crazier things happen, but the Cardinals shouldn’t have any trouble with Seattle this year.

Prediction: 2-0 against Seattle.
