Predicting the Arizona Cardinals NFC West divisional record
Arizona Cardinals vs. San Francisco 49ers: Weeks 11 & 18
The first time the Arizona Cardinals take on the San Francisco 49ers will be in Week 11 in Mexico City. Unfortunately, the Cardinals lose a home game to play internationally once again, and with such a heavy importance, this game doesn’t get any easier once it crosses the border.
Arizona played some really close games against the 49ers, including the 17-10 nailbiter win in Week 4, highlighted by Isaiah Simmons’ stonewalling of 49ers quarterback Trey Lance at the goal line early on in the game.
Deebo Samuel is trying to get a contract done, and who knows what will happen to his usage. Will he be the gadget player he’s been in the past, or will he solely be a possession wide receiver?
This is also Kyle Shanahan we’re talking about here, and the way he revived a 2-5 team to make a run to the NFC Championship game cannot be ignored.
Expect this series to be tough again, and don’t be surprised if the 49ers take one of these.
Prediction: 1-1 against San Francisco, 3-1 total so far
