Arizona Cardinals find out announcers of Week 1 vs. Kansas City Chiefs
The Arizona Cardinals are getting one of the best announcing crews that CBS has- but it could be so much better.
For those Arizona Cardinals fans who wish to skip the preseason, knowing everything about the first game of the season is paramount. Taking on the Kansas City Chiefs is no easy task, but at least the crew calling the game will be able to do a good job.
CBS released their assignments for each of their games, and the Arizona Cardinals landed Jim Nantz, Tony Romo, and sideline reporter Tracy Wolfson. Surprisingly perpetual- Arizona Cardinals fan-Twitter blocker Mike Jurecki actually shared it as well.
Romo is one of the best commentators in the league, but personally, I think the Cardinals could’ve gotten a better deal. If the Cardinals would’ve gotten Kevin Harlan’s crew instead, then it would be a much better setup.
Kevin Harlan should be calling the Arizona Cardinals-Kansas City Chiefs game in Week 1
Let me continue by saying that only should Harlan call the Week 1 Cardinals-Chiefs game, but he needs the TV Spot to do it for a Super Bowl. There is no one in the same galaxy when it comes to the quality and delivery of calls. I mean, how could you forget the time he called the scene above from the preseason six years ago? It’s the stuff of legends!
There’s also the “I’M CALLING BOTH GAMES!” moment he had in 2021 dealing with the Dolphins-Patriots game at the same time as the Chiefs-Chargers regular-season finale. Harlan is phenomenally poignant with his calls as he is with his humor.
I think he’d have a lot of fun calling this shootout between Kyler Murray and Patrick Mahomes instead of the yawn fest of Raiders-Chargers.
Make the change, CBS!
