The Arizona Cardinals are seeing their playoff hopes slipping by the week, following a 34-26 loss to the Minnesota Vikings. Can they redeem themselves?

If the Arizona Cardinals don’t win this game, don’t be surprised if you see rumblings about the organization making sweeping changes grow louder. Head coach Kliff Kingsbury is clearly losing the locker room if he hasn’t already lost it yet, and he’s also lost the fanbase’s endorsement.

Sure, a miraculous second half to the 2022 season might just make everything done and forgotten. But this Holiday Season, the only gifts Kingsbury can expect are a pink slip and a map to the door if his Cardinals keep up their losing ways. And history is not on the much-maligned head coach’s side, given his repeated collapses in the second half of the season.

But before we draw any conclusions, Kingsbury and company have a chance to redeem themselves. Let’s check out the odds for the upcoming week.

Arizona Cardinals vs. Seahawks Odds – Week 9

Per Fan Duel, the Arizona Cardinals are -2 favorites as of Tuesday, November 1st, 2022. The current over/under sits at 50.5, and the Cardinals moneyline is -134. The moneyline for the Seahawks is +114.

Arizona Cardinals vs. Seahawks Prediction – Week 9

Scoff! I’m not entirely sure what Fan Duel is playing at regarding Tuesday’s numbers. And while they can change as the week progresses, the Seahawks aren’t just riding a three-game winning streak; they have won their last three games by at least 10 points.

The Seahawks are winning this game, barring anything unforeseen. And given the Cardinals struggles, it shouldn’t even be that close. I’m projecting the Seahawks take it 34-24, with the Cardinals tacking on a late touchdown during garbage time to make the score a little more respectable.

But fans shouldn’t worry. Another one in the loss column won’t help Kingsbury’s cause. Even if it means sitting through yet another painful afternoon.
