The Tampa Bay Buccaneers and Arizona Cardinals will cap off the Christmas Day Slate of games in the NFL.

The Cardinals will look to play spoiler, as only the Bucs are still alive to make the postseason. Tampa Bay entered Week 16 at 6-8, but somehow still has a one game lead in the NFC South.

Arizona will look to Trace McSorley, their third string quarterback, to hopefully gain some offense after both Kyler Murray and Colt McCoy have gone down with injuries. As a result, the Buccaneers are 7.5-point favorites.

But what about player props? I am targeting a few that I think hold some betting value.

Let’s dive into them.

Best NFL prop bets for Buccaneers vs. Cardinals

  • Trace McSorley UNDER 0.5 interceptions +160
  • James Conner OVER 67.5 rushing yards
  • Mike Evans OVER 60.5 receiving yards

Trace McSorley NO interception

This is a bold call, I know, but trust Trace McSorley to not throw an interception in this spot. I expect the Cardinals to lean on the run game and not ask McSorley to do too much. Not only that, but they’re facing a Buccaneers team that ranks 24th in interceptions forced per game, averaging only 0.6.

With the odds set at +160, this is a value bet to make on McSorley, if you don’t want to back him in any other fashion.

James Conner OVER 67.5 rushing yards

As mentioned above, I expect the Cardinals to lean on the run game with their third string quarterback under center. It would also be smart for them to follow this fame plan, considering they’re going up against the 20th ranked run defense in the NFL.

Tampa Bay allows 4.5 yards per carry and James Conner has gone over this total in two of his last three games. I expect him to surpass this number against on Sunday night.

Mike Evans OVER 60.5 receiving yards

Let’s face it, Mike Evans is still Tom Brady’s top target. He has seen at least nine targets in three of his last four games and he’s coming off an 83 yard performance against the Bengals.

No team throws the ball more than the Buccaneers, so Mike Evans will once again get plenty of opportunities to flaunt his talent. I’ll bank on Evans going over his total in this spot.
