Rodney Hudson – Center

Reading into what transpired last summer, it appeared as if Cards general manager Steve Keim begged Rodney Hudson to come back and play in ’22. In hindsight, management would’ve been much better off allowing the 33-year-old center to go forward with his retirement plans.

Apparently, Hudson was nursing a bad knee that only held up for four games. The Cardinals held out hope that the veteran would eventually return to the lineup, but that wish turned out to be nothing more than a pipedream.

When healthy, Hudson flashed the blocking skills that earned him invitations to three Pro Bowls. Unfortunately, there’s a very good possibility that the Alabama native’s stint with Arizona has now come to an end.
