Shane Steichen – Philadelphia Eagles

There is another intriguing candidate the Cards could consider who has what it takes to revitalize the floundering Murray. Most observers would agree that the job that Philadelphia Eagles offensive coordinator Shane Steichen has done with quarterback Jalen Hurts this past season has been downright incredible.

With Hurts as the main weapon, Steichen presided over an Eagles offense that racked up an eye-popping 477 points in 2022, the most by any squad in the NFC. In a little over a week, the 37-year-old will be calling the plays for a almost unstoppable scoring attack that will go up against the Chiefs in Super Bowl LVII.

For most of the campaign, Hurts has been in the NFL’s MVP discussion. There’s reason to believe that Steichen could do the same thing for Murray if Arizona hires the California native to be the organization’s next head coach.
