After an excellent 2025 NFL Draft in which they added potential franchise cornerstones on defense, the Arizona Cardinals have continued to build out their roster.

The Cardinals took no time to rest after the conclusion of the draft, immediately signing three players who will have the opportunity to compete for spots on Arizona's final roster. All three signings play along the offensive or defensive line, signifying a continuing shift towards a physical identity.

Arizona Cardinals 2025 Undrafted Free Agent Signings

Josh Fryar, Ohio State OT

Ohio State's Josh Fryar is a developmental tackle who can play on both the right and the left. With nearly 35-inch arms, he has the ideal frame for an NFL pass blocker. He struggles to reach defenders on zone blocks, and he can tend to lose track of his assignment against complex pass-rush schemes.

Fryar started 29 games for Ohio State. He should compete for a depth role on the Cardinals offensive line.

Elijah Simmons, Tennessee DT

Elijah Simmons wins with power on the interior. He has strong hands that he uses to push the pocket or collapse running lanes. He had very limited playing time at Tennessee, but flashed intriguing tools when he saw the field.

Simmons was expected to be a Day 3 pick, but he may have fallen out of the draft due to his poor performance at the NFL Combine. He will have to fight for a spot in a deep interior defensive line group in Arizona.

Jeremiah Byers, Florida State IOL

Florida State's Jeremiah Byers started at right tackle for two years in Tallahassee after transferring from UTEP. He is projected by most experts to bump inside to guard in the NFL. Byers had a chance to sneak into the seventh round of the NFL Draft, but he ended up going undrafted before quickly signing with the Cardinals.

He joins a relatively thin group of interior offensive linemen in Arizona. Byers should have a shot to earn a roster spot.
