1.) Jaylen Wright - Tennessee

Even though the touchdown numbers may not be there as compared to other prospects, Jaylen Wright plays physical football in between the tackles and he demonstrated that for the Volunteers. With 1,013 rushing yards and 4 touchdowns in 2023, Wright has shown to be a ball carrier that can play a little bit like Le’Veon Bell, in terms of patience but also not afraid of contact. It is important to note that this past season, Wright had only 3 games of 15+ carries (vs. Florida, South Caroline and Texas A&M). Aside from those two games, Wright never saw the ball more than 13 times on the ground per game.

However, Wright finished the season with 6 games of 100+ rushing yards. As of right now, Wright has shown to be a great complementary back in the NFL, and pairing him with Conner would take pressure off of Conner to avoid injury as well as start the development for the future that Conner most likely will not be part of.
