5 - Noah Sewell, Oregon

Noah Sewell’s bloodlines could entice an unwitting general manager to take him earlier in the draft. But if I’m the Arizona Cardinals, I wouldn’t risk even a Day 3 pick on him unless he falls to the seventh round and I’m looking to take a big-name player.

While Sewell had a great season in 2021 with 114 tackles and 8.5 behind the line, he regressed to just 58 stops last year. Sewell also had a career-low 5.5 stops behind the line, 1.5 sacks, and for the only season of his career, zero forced fumbles. Needless to say, he was wildly inconsistent if we’re talking productivity.

Overall, I don’t expect the Arizona Cardinals to take a linebacker unless they take a flier on someone in the final rounds. However, if any of the five names listed above go undrafted, you may see them in minicamp and perhaps even training camp with the Redbirds.
