3 - Elandon Roberts

Elandon Roberts just came off of his best season as a pro, and if he doesn’t return to the Miami Dolphins, general manager Monti Ossenfort will likely take a hard look into him. Roberts played in New England during Ossenfort’s time with the franchise, so the two are well-acquainted with one another.

Overall, Roberts was a playmaker down in South Beach in 2022, logging 107 combined tackles, 10 for loss, plus 4.5 sacks. He’s never played in over 60% of defensive snaps in any season throughout his career, so Roberts would be a rotational piece who makes the most of his opportunities if he signs with the Arizona Cardinals.

2 - Alex Anzalone

Just as Roberts is familiar with Ossenfort, Alex Anzalone knows assistant general manager David Sears. Also like Roberts, Anzalone had a remarkable 2022 campaign. He racked up 125 combined tackles, 7 tackles behind the line, 7 quarterback hits, and 1.5 sacks.

Anzalone also showed off his durability, playing in 95% of snaps for the Detroit Lions, and a grand total of 1,080. Overall, he’s the type of linebacker you can put right beside Zaven Collins on the Arizona Cardinals defense should they look for Isaiah Simmons to play multiple roles.
