Wow, this is an extremely difficult question to answer.  As a passionate Arizona Cardinals fan, it is also difficult to answer without being extremely bias. But I will give it my best shot.

I must admit, I have been truly impressed and excited about all the additions added to the Cardinals roster (this offseason) from top to bottom. Additionally, on paper I believe the Redbirds had if not the best; one of the best offseason’s this year.

Having said that, as all sports fans know, the Cardinals still need to put the product that has been put together, on the field. It is very easy to get excited about NFL rosters in the offseason. I think if you were to look up and down every roster in the offseason, there would probably be 32 paper champions, in the minds of many passionate fans of their respective teams.

Having said that, I was asked to attempt to put a number on how many wins the Cardinals will have this year.

Realistically, because of the difficult division (NFC West) they now play in, having a new coaching staff as well as the many new additions to their roster. It could be quite rough coming out of the starting gate for the Cardinals this season. More than likely it will take time for chemistry to take hold or for players and coaches alike to get on the same page with one another. For instance, Carson Palmer will need to get on the same page with Larry Fitzgerald and his running mates and so on and so forth.

So in my opinion, if the Redbirds could come out of this year with at least a 500 record or have at least eight wins; in my book, would be a successful season.

Having said that, I hope my estimation is way off. Perhaps head coach Bruce Arians and staff will put all this together very quickly and get them off to an unbelievable start.

If Arians and staff were somehow able to pull this off and get the Cardinals off to an amazing start and also win the division. The Redbirds will be the talk of the NFL and all Cardinal fans will be rejoicing.
