Bobby Massie’s 2012 season started very poorly. It ended very well.

Massie graded out as one of the NFL’s best right tackles from Week 9 to Week 17, and he’s looking to ‘pick up where he left off.’ According to Revenge of the Birds, Massie said that he wants to build upon his 2012 success.

According to Pro Football Focus, Massie surrendered a mere 11 pressures in the final nine weeks of the 2012 season. He was the best player on a weak offensive line, and he can continue to be the line’s best player if he picks up where he left off.

However, if Massie becomes the player who somehow allowed 50 pressures in the first eight weeks of the season, he may lose his job. The Cardinals recently signed Eric Winston, who will play at right tackle and left tackle.

Massie can definitely improve and become one of the league’s best offensive linemen. However, he is on a short leash.
