3. Andre Ellington 80 yard dash vs Falcons

Andre Ellington was a sixth-round pick out of Clemson. Not many people knew who he was, but he attracted the attention of the Cardinals staff with his excellent speed and receiving ability.

His role on the field began to expand, and he was rewarded with the job of starting in place of the injured Rashard Mendenhall when the Falcons came to Arizona.

In the second quarter, Ellington took a handoff from Palmer, cut left, and just kept going straight to the endzone. No one on the Atlanta defense could even touch him. This play was a key in the Cards 21 point second quarter.

It was also Ellington’s way of saying to all the other NFL teams “Don’t you feel foolish?”
