The second division game of the 2014 season for the Arizona Cardinals will be a home match-up in week 10 with the St. Louis Rams,a very much improved Rams team especially on defense and the offensive line.

Division games are hard to predict as these two teams know each other very well, and records are thrown out and even home field advantage is not really much of an advantage.

Defensive battle and a last second field goal threw the uprights always seems to be the way these games end, and the Cardinals lost game one last year in that fashion after blowing a lead in the fourth quarter.

The Rams may not be able to pass the ball effectively to their outside receivers because of the Cardinals secondary being able to match their speed.  However, the Cards may struggle  where they struggled early last year, up the middle at the tight end position against Jared Cook who torched the Cards last season in game one recording 7 catches for 141 yards and 2 touchdowns. It would have been three touchdowns but the tenacity of then rookie Tyrann Mathieu made his presents felt and ran down cook and popped the ball out causing a fumble and a touch-back for the Cardinals.

Its will take the same effort from the defensive side of the ball but the end result of this game will be the Cards defense making Sam Bradford uncomfortable and remain mediocre as a starting quarterback.

Look for another three point win for the Redbirds bringing their predicted record to 6-3 on the year with a rough stretch coming up.
