Surprise Surprise, Beanie Limited in Practice

Arizona Cardinals running back Beanie Wells was limited in practice today, or as I like to call it, Thursday.

Yes fans, Beanie Wells was ONCE AGAIN, limited in practice.  It's getting to be an old story and quite frankly, he either needs to participate or just hang it up for the season.  There, I said it.

The past few weeks have followed the exact same script.  It goes something like this:

Coach Ken Whisenhunt on Monday says Beanie should be good to go this week for practice.  He was held out of yesterday's game as a precaution.

On Tuesday, you don't hear much since it is the players day off.

Wednesday is when the fun begins.  For the past couple of weeks, he's been limited on Wednesday.  This week, he actually practiced on Wednesday, so it was different.  However....

Thursday had to happen.  Here we go.  Beanie was limited today.  For his part, coach Whiz said that Beanie may not start but should still see a lot of plays on Sunday, and that was after practice.  Mmmm hmmmm.  Heard that one before.  I'll believe it when I see it.  Don't count your chickens before they hatch people.

Bottom line is as frustrating as it is I'm sure for Beanie and the coaches, it is just as frustrating for fans.  We are just tired of hearing the same story.  If he isn't well enough to play, be honest with us and shelve him.  The Cards are on pace for a losing season.  No need to mess with his status any longer.  If he is well enough, let's keep a consistent story from Wednesday all the way until the in-actives are announced Sunday morning.
