16 or 18 Game Season?

I am hearing that the 18-game season proposal is dead in the water, and will not be part of the collective bargaining agreement. So we’ll be playing a 16-game season for the immediate future.

Clearly the owners wanted 18 games (more revenue), and the players didn’t want it (more wear and tear on their already beat up bodies). But I haven’t really heard want the fans want.

So tell me, are you in favor of seeing 2 more games of footbal in the regular season, or do you think it waters down an already long season?
