Cardiac Cardinals Could Make an Appearance This Season

Back in the Jake Plummer days, the Arizona Cardinals earned the nickname of the “Cardiac Cardinals” for their penchant of winning games in the last seconds. Over the last few years, I can think of only a handful of games where the Cardinals won the game on a last second field goal or touchdown. Even the nail biter they won last year against the Oakland Raiders was won not on a last-second score by the Cardinals, but a last-second missed field goal by the Raiders.
