Memories of the Eagles-Cardinals Playoff Game

It was certainly one of the highlights in the magical Cardinals season.  It featured a flea flicker touchdown pass from Warner to Fitzgerald, and a huge fourth and one run by Tim Hightower, who just made it around the Eagles defenders on a sweep to pick up a first down and keep the game-winning drive alive. I will never forget my feeling after Donovan McNabb threw an errant fourth down pass at the end of the game, sealing the Cardinals victory and sending them to the Super Bowl.

Unfortunately, the game also clearly demonstrates how much the Cardinals have regressed since that season.

Perhaps some of that magic from this playoff game can rub off on the Cardinals when they face the Eagles again on Sunday, and the Cardinals can once again emerge victorious in unexpected fashion.
