The Cardinals are having problems today on third down as they have all season long, the play calling does not look to be the issue as opposed to the players making the mental mistakes.

The offensive line looks to be confused as they allow gaping wholes for defenders to get pressure up middle to Carson Palmer.

The receivers are running their routes short of the yard sticks and the Buccs are making solid tackles not allowing yards after the catch.

The Cards have gone to a no huddle hurry up offense that should allow them to get off some quick plays that can keep the defense honest, but the Buccs have not let up in disrupting the Cards offense as they have forced the Cardinals into a 0-5 third down stat, and Palmer 7-13 for only 54 yards. Larry Fitzgerald has not caught a pass yet as he is on Revis Island today.

Third down is going to be critical in this game, and I am not sure if the Buccs defense is really this good or the Cardinals offense this bad, maybe a little of both
