While this might be a site about the Arizona Cardinals, I had to write about the loss Minnesota Vikings running back Adrian Peterson suffered today. He lost his 2-year old boy who was beaten badly by his mom’s boyfriend.

There’s tons of support from players and fans all over the league. If you’ve been on twitter the past hour or so you could see exactly what I’m talking about. Peterson thanked everyone and called the NFL a fraternity of brothers which it is. One could only imagine the pain Peterson is feeling right now, and the fact that he’s going to play this Sunday is incredible.

I have a feeling Peterson will play the best game of his career this Sunday against the Carolina Panthers. He will have his son looking down on him and even though I feel he’s motivated every time he steps on the field this time will be different. He will become a different animal one that we’ve never seen before. Rest in peace little buddy.
