Offensive Player of the Year: WR Larry Fitzgerald

Despite the fact that he called his season “average”, Larry Fitzgerald was far closer the one we all love to see than he has been in recent years. He caught 82 passes for 954 yards and ten touchdowns. More than just stats tell the story. He retained his role as the leader of the offense with his professionalism and work ethic, and he did it while putting up solid numbers. He also became the youngest player to reach 800 career catches and 11,000 receiving yards.

Fitzgerald will likely have better numbers as the Cardinals find a long term answer at quarterback, or if Carson Palmer returns now that he is comfortable in the offense. Either way, his numbers are back on track and he proved he’s still one of the best at what he does
