We all knew it was coming soon but the last couple of seasons the NFL has waited until the last second to announce the official date of the schedule release. Last year they took it down to the last week before the final word came down.
So what’s the big secret? We all know the opponents of each team, both home and road. It’s a matter of when they play the teams. Who gets a lot of home games early? Who gets a lot of home games late? What about national television? These are the questions fans want answered.
Not only all that it is nice for planning purposes to know when you will be going to a game whether you are a season ticket holder or a guy like me who goes to a game or two a season as a fan.
The Cardinals will play the San Francisco 49ers, Seattle Seahawks, St. Louis Rams, Green Bay Packers, Baltimore Ravens, New Orleans Saints, Cincinnati Bengals, and Minnesota Vikings at home. Road games include the 49ers, Seahawks, Rams, Philadelphia Eagles, Chicago Bears, Detroit Lions, Pittsburgh Steelers, and Cleveland Browns.
