The Tampa Bay Buccaneers had the first selection of the 2015 NFL Draft
With the first pick in the 2015 NFL Draft, the Tampa Bay Buccaneers select….quarterback Jameis Winston of Florida State. Was there ever any doubt? If you believe the last two or three hours, then yes.
There were several teams that were reportedly in discussions with the Bucs for the number one draft pick. The Arizona Cardinals were not one of them of course. Quarterback is not on their wish list this season, at least at the top.

There it is. Winston is the guy. It had to be. The rumors were just that. After hearing what man power the Bucs put in to vetting Winston, it couldn’t have been anyone else. 23 picks until the Cardinals on the clock.
