3. Andre Ellington, Running Back

While he was playing through a foot injury all of last season, feature back Andre Ellington still managed to put up respectable numbers. A sports hernia is what shut Ellington down after 12 games into the season. After spending his rookie season backing up Rashard Mendenhall, Andre Ellington surprised many with his field vision and his speed.

Ellington is once again expected to be the feature back this season, and he is also expected to be healthy. While he may lose red zone touches to rookie David Johnson, expect Ellington to score you points through rushing yards, and receiving touchdowns.

In his shortened 2014 season, Ellington scored 5 total touchdowns (3 rushing, 2 receiving) to go along with 1055 multi-purpose yards. While he only scored 135 total fantasy points, Ellington only played in 12 games, and was playing hurt in all of those games. Heading into 2015, Ellington will be 100% healthy, and playing behind revamped offensive line. Running back is one of the positions that’ll bring you the most points, so consider drafting Ellington either as your No.2 RB or as your FLEX.
