Arizona Cardinals: Mathieu, Campbell appear on ‘The League’

The defensive duo appear on the final season premiere of the hit FXX show
Arizona Cardinals defensive stars Calais Campbell and Tyrann Mathieu appeared on the seventh, and final, season premiere of the FXX show “The League” last night ahead of the 2015 season. The show, which focuses on a core group of friends, intertwinned with a fantasy football league, and their everyday lives.
The show stars Mark Duplass, Nick Kroll, Stephen Rannazzisi, Paul Scheer, Jon Lajoie, and Katie Aselton and was created by Jeff and Jackie Schaffer.
Calais Campbell tweeted out a picture of him and Mathieu on the set:

Over the last seven years many sports and non-sports guest appearances have popped up including Matt Forte, Antonio Gates, Terry Bradshaw, Marshawn Lynch, J.J. Watt, RGIII and Jerry Jones to name just a few. Here’s a shot of Campbell and Mathieu behind the scenes with the show’s creators:

If you haven’t checked out the show, and play fantasy football, or just love a good sports-centric comedy, definitely check it out Wednesdays on FXX. The show has aged well over the years and still provides some great laughs.
