Arizona Cardinals Power Rankings Week 12

Previous: 21st. San Diego Chargers. 28. team. 13. That was the epic shelling of the season in a pathetic offensive performance by the Chargers at home. If the season wasn’t officially over before this week, it is now. Maybe they’re trying to discourage any fans they do have to make the move to LA a little more seamless?. (2-8)

Baltimore Ravens. 27. team. 26. Losing Joe Flacco in an already lost season has to be icing on the cake. Losing Justin Forsett is just a big blow to the only offense they had left after losing Steve Smith. Teams have bad luck during the season, but the Ravens season was pretty much bad luck personified.. (3-7). Previous: 27th

Previous: 24th. Miami Dolphins. 26. team. 59. Miami ebbs and flows like the waves on it’s beaches, win and lose, win and lose, promise and hope to sorrow. At least they didn’t give up a safety this week.. (4-6)

The Jags (in the worst uniforms this side of bubble bee Steelers) managed to keep themselves in contention in the playoff picture with a win over the Titans. How long they’ll stay in the conversation is anyone’s guess at this point. There’s a lot of talent on that team at the skill positions, but can they sync it all up into a run?. (4-6). Previous: 25th. Previous: 26th. Dallas Cowboys. 24. team. 123. Tony Romo returns, and so do the wins (granted it was over Miami), but a win is a win. Now they need six more, in a row.. (3-7)

15. The Saints are still in the hunt for a playoff spot mathematically, but after setting touchdown records, the last two weeks have been pedestrian by Drew Brees standards.. (4-6). Previous: 23rd. New Orleans Saints. 23. team

48. Don’t look now! Here comes Tampa Bay and Jameis into the playoff hunt. Say I’m crazy will you? Go ask Chip Kelly how crazy that sounds?. (5-5). Previous: 28th. Tampa Bay Buccaneers. 22. team

(4-6). Previous: 18th. Philadelphia Eagles. 21. team. 54. Philly is an absolute mess and Chip Kelley was over-matched by Lovie Smith and the Bucs in an absolute beat-down at home. In a year a new Rocky movie comes out and his hometown is battered and bruised.

20. team. 51. The Rams fell four games behind the Cardinals after losing to the Ravens, and (inadvertently) taking out yet ANOTHER quarterback. Am I the only one who sees this? 28. Once 4-3 and in the Top 10 of this list the team has fallen below .500. The explosive offense has seemed suddenly human, only putting up 13 points against a ghastly Detroit defense.. (4-6). Previous: 14th. Oakland Raiders. 18. team

(5-5). Previous: 22nd. Houston Texans. 17. team. 10. Don’t look now, but the Texans are right there with the Colts. What was the worst division in football has suddenly brought in three teams that are winning. They made it a race, and not a race to the bottom (here’s looking at your NFC East).

Weeks of promise may have been lost in the defeat to the Broncos, a two-point conversion away from tying the game has to hurt just a little bit, but all those drives left on the field against that defense, and that first TD by Thomas have to hurt.. 44. The Falcons continue to drop and disappoint, week after week, injury after injury, this team is falling back to .500 faster than anyone expected. At this point, an even record may not be the bottom the way they’re playing.. (6-4). Previous: 9th. Atlanta Falcons. 15. team
