The top of our rankings, including the Arizona Cardinals, stay put, the bottom sees some shuffling as four teams meet their maker

The wild Wild Card Round of the Playoffs, saw all four road teams win in a single weekend for the first time since the current format was adopted. With wins by Seattle, Green Bay, Pittsburgh and Kansas City, all of the three and four seeds are not eliminated making the match-ups this week very intreguing.

The rankings stay relatively the same this week, with spots 8, 9, 10 and 11 eliminated, only the Green Bay Packers at number 12 survived to move on. This holds some pat-on-the-back props to myself for seeing the bottom third of my rankings fall off, just as they should be. If that holds true, then the top of my rankings will be the Super Bowl and we can start to book tickets for the Denver vs. Arizona Super Bowl 50 right now. (I kid, let’s not jinx anything).

Still, a very wild start to the weekend and the potential for the 1 and 2 seeds in each conference to come out this weekend on top in very winnable games setting up some dynamic Championship games next weekend. But only time will tell, and if this weekend was any indication, you can’t take anything for granted, right Blair Walsh?

team. 49. The Packers jump up four spots, since the four teams above them were all eliminated, but if they play like the did in the second half with MVP Aaron Rodgers and not Sack Master Aaron Rodgers, they could be a scary team for Arizona to face this weekend. Key injuries could derail their redemption story, but time, and a short week, will tell.. (11-6). Previous: 12th. Green Bay Packers. 8

55. The Steelers are in limbo right now, a very, very ugly game against the Bengals propelled the team into the next round to take on the Broncos in Denver, but will they have their top wide out and quarterback when they meet this weekend? Or did the Bengals’ parting gift nuke their chances of knocking on seven’s door?. (11-6). Previous: 6th. Pittsburgh Steelers. 7. team
