6th Pick – Baltimore Ravens (5-11)
Corey Coleman – WR
Baylor – Redshirt Junior
5-10, 190 Pounds

Am I the only one who was surprised how awful the Baltimore Ravens attack was on offense? I really thought that Joe Flacco (alone) would help the Ravens get over the hump, and the team seemed poised for a playoff push. None of that happened, and the Ravens seemed to be pushed around in many contests. The Ravens especially seemed lackluster in the passing attack, that is why they needed a little bit of help there. I don’t want to put an offensive lineman here because I still believe in Ricky Wagner and Eugene Monroe. I get that the Ravens are in a bad spot to resign Kelechi Osemele, but that’s why they have a second/third round selection.

Corey Coleman really came on for the Baylor Bears this year, with many in the country thinking he could be a Heisman winner. The amazing passing offense that Baylor had then sizzled later down the stretch, and Coleman seemed to lose all momentum like a broken roller coaster ride. I think that Coleman has the best hands in the draft this year, and seems very capable to take the top off the defense.

Many NFL players hope to play for such an amazing organization such as the Ravens, with asperations to join the upper-echelon of the league being in the catagory of superstar for the Ravens. Corey Coleman could be the number one wide receiver in the draft, but he needs to show that his character is strong and that he has better route running then the reliable Laquon Treadwell of Ole Miss. I don’t think that the Ravens “need” a wide receiver, but the combination of Kamar Aiken and Steve Smith could use some help. What about the first round selection from last year, Breshad Perriman? Sorry guys, in my opinion, you don’t pass on a talent like Coleman.

Player Comparison: Emmanuel Sanders – Denver Broncos
