Pink Ranger: Kimberly Hart
Cardinal: Tyrann Mathieu

Pink Ranger Kimberly Hart evolved from being a “mean girl” to saving her hometown. She spread some less-than-flattering pictures of another girl around the high school, and everyone turned on her, including who she thought to be her friends.

Tyrann Mathieu’s story is the story of ultimate redemption. Like Kimberly, the people he thought he could trust turned their backs on him after he was caught with marijuana at LSU. Showing remorse, both Mathieu and Kimberly were determined to change their ways and focus on reaching their full potentials.

During this focus shift, both people put up walls. Kimberly’s wall was damaging her team as they could not morph until they fully trusted each other. On the other hand, Mathieu’s “wall” fueled his extraordinary gameplay instead of impeding it. One of Mathieu’s former teammates, Jarraud Powers, once even stated, “Ty thinks the world is against him.”
