Antonio Pipkin is a flashy athlete who would be an interesting addition

The Arizona Cardinals do not have a quarterback going forward. Palmer is on the verge of retirement, and the team is in the process of looking for his replacement. They should even consider taking a couple of them in this draft to make sure they get one who can start after 2017.

The passing attack has been vital to the success of the Cardinals over the past several seasons. Great quarterback play has been key to that. Once Palmer is gone, it will obviously have a large effect on the team.

Antonio Pipkin has several obstacles to overcome. He lacks the size NFL teams generally prefer, comes from a lower level of college play, and is seen as a run-first passer. However, he has the potential to develop into a nice player, and could eventually provide a change of direction for the Cardinals offense.

This mock draft is only one of many possibilities for the Arizona Cardinals this year. Happy April Fools’ Day.
