Arizona Cardinals: Bundy arrested over weekend (video)

The Arizona Cardinals once again find a receiver arrested in Scottsdale over the weekend
What is it with Arizona Cardinals receviers and late nights in Scottsdale. On the heels of former Cardinals receiver Michael Floyd arrested for DUI in December in Scottsdale, now another receiver has found himself on the wrong side of the law.
Receiver Marquis Bundy, who spent most of 2016 on the Cardinals practice squad after a good training camp, was arrested outside a Scottsdale nightclub this past weekend. Bundy was signed as an undrafted free agent out of New Mexico. He played high school football in Anthem, Arizona.
Bundy, who was intoxicated, was arrested outside of INTL by Scottsdale Police early Saturday morning after disobeying police. He reportedly was upset about his hat missing. The following video is from TMZ.
You have to wonder what he was thinking? Of course when one is intoxicated, one’s judgement is usually impaired. Fair or not, as a member of the Cardinals, he needs to act better than this.
There has been no word from the Cardinals on his status with the team. They would only confirm that the matter was handed over to NFL Security.

Based on past criminal behavior by Cardinals players, Bundy’s days in Arizona may now be numbered. Maybe he gets off with a slap on the wrist if he apologizes?
Maybe, but despite Floyd’s woes on the field last season, Bundy is no Floyd. Bundy is expendable, especially with the other signing’s by the Cardinals this season at receiver.
The Cardinals signed Aaron Dobson and also re-signed Jeremy Ross. They can always find another receiver to take Bundy’s place in camp.
In other words, I wouldn’t expect Bundy around for much longer. If he apologizes to the team, he may just get to come back for training camp. Right now however, I wouldn’t count on it.
