Arizona Cardinals: 6 best fantasy options
By Scott Allen
Carson Palmer
You know if he stays healthy, Palmer can be dangerous. He has the weapons to throw to. He has the ability to put up big numbers.
In 2015 he threw for 35 touchdowns and 11 interceptions. Last season, which many considered a downturn for him, actually wasn’t too bad.
Yes, he threw nine fewer touchdowns with 26 but he only three more interceptions. He had a great second half of the season.
If not as your full-time starter, he should be considered as your number two quarterback, Look at week by week matchups. There may be times you’ll want to use him even outside the bye week for your number one quarterback.
Many see him as an aging quarterback. So is Tom Brady though. Palmer is almost two and a half years younger.
That’s not to say take Palmer over Brady. That’s not the point. The point is Palmer is still a viable option and can still put up decent fantasy numbers for you.
