John Brown

Hear me out on this one.  Brown is currently listed as receiver number three on the depth chart. Don’t look for that to last too long.

Brown, who has struggled with his sickle cell trait that kept him out of a lot of training camp and preseason action, showed recently why he should be considered.

Brown had two spectacular touchdown receptions in the first half of their preseason game against the Atlanta Falcons.  That was against their starters.

Yes, it was preseason.  However that should underscore the reason that, if healthy, Brown should be considered as a number two or three receiver on your fantasy team.

It is a risk given his health but for now he is expected to play.  We’re not sure he’ll ever be 100 percent but when he is active and when he catches the ball, he does great things.

He is likely more an option for deeper roster leagues but someone that should not be ignored.  You can wait several rounds before you have to get him but don’t wait too long.  Someone will take a flier on him.
