Arizona Cardinals: 6 best fantasy options

Arizona Defense

Up front, you should see a rather dominating defense.  The Cardinals defensive tackles and linebackers get at it.

They have two of the best sack leaders in the NFL at linebacker in Chandler Jones and Markus Golden.  The two of them had 23.5 sacks between them in 2016.

You also have one of the best if not the best shutdown corners in the NFL in Patrick Peterson. There is also safety Tyrann Mathieu, who had two interceptions in the preseason.

The big question with the Cardinals defense is their secondary outside of those guys.  It is suspect at best.  The Cardinals spent all of training camp trying to find a starter opposite Peterson.

That guy will be Justin Bethel but he still appears to struggle at times.  Overall though, the Cardinals appear to be one of the stronger defensive options for you in fantasy in 2017.

There are some defenses that are projected to get you more points but remember it is all just that, projection.  In my three fantasy drafts so far, the Cardinals defense has been amongst the first to be picked up.
