Now that the NFL has released the 2020 NFL Schedule, fans can begin circling in the wins and losses. But for the Arizona Cardinals to break through this season, a few particular games will have to make it into the win column.

The NFL released its 2020 NFL schedule with about as much fanfare as current circumstances would allow. If not for a ridiculous number of leaks, the event could have been a better TV experience. That said, for fans of the Arizona Cardinals, this is a season that can’t get here soon enough.

The Cardinals have been steady this offseason. While they made the biggest splash in a trade for wide receiver DeAndre Hopkins, their selections in the NFL Draft were the kind that left few scratching their head. More simply put, Arizona has done all the right things so far in 2020.

As for the results, specifically, how this translates to play on the field, that remains to be seen. However, the 5-10-1 season from a year ago was not the kind that said the Cardinals are trending down. Most fans and NFL watchers would contend that Arizona is a team on the rise. Hopkins is sure to help quarterback Kyler Murray be much better in 2020. The same could be said for second-year head coach Kliff Kingsbury.

Fans can point to a lot on the schedule to be excited about. While many see a team near the .500 mark, an argument can be made that they could be better than that. Especially with opponents that Arizona will be clearly better than.
