The moment every Arizona Cardinals fan has been waiting for has arrived, Kyler Murray joins teammates on the field

Since the acquisition of DeAndre Hopkins in March, Arizona Cardinals fans have been waiting not-so-patiently for the first evidence that this is not all a dream. The dream became full-fledged reality on Monday when Kyler Murray posted a video to his social media accounts that show the second-year quarterback finally connecting with his new offensive playmaker.

Three weeks ago, Murray had let known his intentions to gather offensive players in Dallas for a group workout. The 22 year old also made it known he would foot the bill for the 20 or so Cardinals he planned to invite.

In addition to Hopkins, other wide receivers reportedly present include Christian Kirk, Hakeem Butler, Trent Sherfield, Johnnie Dixon, AJ Richardson, Andy Isabella, and KeeSean Johnson.

Quarterbacks Brett Hundley and Chris Streveler were in attendance along with tight ends Darrell Daniels and Dylan Cantrell. Rookie running back Eno Benjamin was joined by veterans Kenyan Drake, Chase Edmonds and D.J. Foster.

In the video, Murray shows off his arm with deep balls to Hopkins and others.

The fate of the group workout was unknown after the NFLPA released a recommendation on June 20 to suspend all voluntary group activities.

Murray and company now join other groups that are known to have continued holding personal group training after the NFLPA recommendation, most notably Tom Brady and fellow Tampa Bay Buccaneers.

With cases of COVID-19 surging in the United States, it is still hoped that the players will report to training camp at their respective facilities on July 28. While continuing to work through what the season will look like this year, the NFL remains confident that football will happen in the Fall.
