The Bad

Zane Gonzalez missed a couple of kicks that could have ended up being the difference in the score but thankfully it wasn’t.  His misses were 52-yards and 49-yards but he has the leg to make those as evidenced by his huge 56-yard kick to end the first half.

That huge field goal is why he doesn’t fall into the ugly category this week.  He did make all three extra point attempts.  Hopefully the ship will be complete righted next week against the Washington Football Team.

It almost feels bad to put Gonzalez here but had the Cards not made a goal line stand during the game, those missed kicks could have been the difference.  It’s behind us now and don’t expect Gonzalez to end up in this category much more in 2020.

Penalties.  The Cardinals have to shore those up.  Again, this is something we can chalk no preseason to, maybe.  However they had nine penalties for 102-yards.
