In Good Company

Incredibly enough Murray is currently on pace to have a whopping total of 48 touchdowns (32 passing/16 rushing) which could end up being tops in the league. As impressive as Kyler has been in the passing game, he is currently boasting the 8th most rushing yards and the 2nd most rushing touchdowns.

Let me clarify that is among ALL players not just quarterbacks, only trailing Dalvin Cook‘s 12 scores on the ground. To go with all of those touchdowns he is currently out pacing every single one of Lamar Jackson’s passing stats from his 2019-2020 MVP campaign including yards, accuracy, and passer rating.

Jackson was handed a stellar defense and an unstoppable rushing attack in an incredibly inferior division at the time. Facing the likes of a rising Baker Mayfield, Ryan Finley, and Mason Rudolph led to a much easier path than Kyler.

Having to play in a division where every single quarterback has been to a Super Bowl is by no means an easy task. In my eyes and many others, a playoff berth alone would be enough to garner him an MVP.
