Arizona’s secondary may look vastly different with veteran cornerbacks, Patrick Peterson, Dre Kirkpatrick, and Jonathan Joseph hitting free agency. These potential departures would leave a sizeable void on defense.

Robert Alford and Byron Murphy are best utilized in the slot. This places a priority on adding talent at either boundary cornerback position. Keith Taylor had an impressive week during senior bowl practices. Physical when redirecting receives in one on one drills and sticky in coverage downfield.

His length is evident as he’s listed at 6 foot 2 and weighing in at 191 pounds. The former huskie understands leverage and how to operate those long levers to his advantage in coverage. Taylor oozes confidence in his abilities, yet, remains calm, cool, and collected during live action.

Factor in the receiver duos in the NFC West division, DK Metcalf/Tyler Lockett, Deebo Samuel/Brandon Ayiuk, and Cooper Kupp/Robert Woods, improving the secondary to compete will be essential for the 2021 season.

Keith Taylor would be a welcomed addition to what looks to be a young secondary.
